Thanks!

Sorry guys, as you may know, I won't be comming out for the summer. I hope to get racing again in the fall. With my car and everything else going on family wise, I do not have the moeny or the time to make it out on a regular basis.
Sure can Mazda, I'll tell him (Jason Ramsey), and I may be in the same boat as you. I am starting a different job at my work and have to go to the afternoon shift. But as late as things have been going I can still come out, lol...

Just take the whole day off like I do. Did you figure out what was going on with your Lambo?

Once again a great time was had by all at the races. I can't wait to see the results for March.

Thats it, Jason! I was thinking John for some reason, but knew it was wrong. Just have him email me. Or if you email me, I will give you my cell #.

That's too bad about work, it is really unfortuante. You have been running really well as of late. Not to jump on this, but if you have to sell out, I would be intrested in your M8. I have been looking for a nice tx, but I am worried about buying used off of eBay or RCTech.

What about this offroad track in Monroe? I heard on RCXXX that Chuck & Vaughn are the guys to ask about it. Do either of you have any information? I am going to check it out tomorrow.

No I didn't. I ended up breaking the t-plate for it playing Dukes of Hazzard , so I changed it back to the Dynacity. I did notice quite a bit of front tire wear, and one of the tires was very uneven, but not coned. Maybe I should have changed out the front knuckles and go to a lesser degree, because it seemed to be getting too much bite in the corners.
Time off is kinda messed up at my work... you have to give them all kinds of crazy advanced notice. but I'm gonna find out what I can do.

tzero, you should definitely come next time, we'd all be happy to loan you whatever parts you need, and this is the best way to become a better driver - you should see the improvement our guys have made since our first race, it's really quite amazing how the mutual support and assistance has really brought everyone up to another level!

Mini-z is correct. I'm very impressed with every driver we have. We all bring out the best in each other and we're not competitive with each other, we just want to be the best team out there and if you look at the standings, our low guy (which is me sometimes ) will usually be in the top 20s. The best racer in this series is in our club and he's helped everyone in our club become a better racer in one way or another so you'll enjoy racing with us.

It has been a great club to be a part of. I think it's great for those that are experienced RC Car racers all the way to those who are new.

I just started back into RC cars 5 months ago, having bought a used Mini-Z for the first time in Nov 2005. Everyone in the club has helped me get better every week.

I went from bouncing off the walls of the track a couple times a lap, to making the A Main last GTG. I wish my shoe didn't fall off in the Main though, there went lots o laps...
Lots of help and suggestions, even here, try my car and I'll try yours to see what is going on... real cool!

Hopefully I can come next time if my dad is not at work.
How is the Mr-01 compaired to the Mr-02?
I have one more question what is needed to race the Mr-01?
BTW I just started with R/C's when I got one for Xmas.

I personally think the MR-02 is much easier to race for someone just starting out but apparently one of the fastest people in HFAY OLPS (gasman I think) is running an MR-01.

tzero, check out this thread for what people recommend for racing:
http://minizracers.net/forums/showth...344#post221344

Basically you need the obvious stuff:
Your Mini-Z Car & Transmitter.
Rechargeable NiMH AAA batteries for your car
A Charger for your batteries
AA batteries for your Transmitter

Then for the RCP Track we run on I suggest:
soft tires like the Atomic 10 degree groove tires for the rear and Atomic 20 degree slicks
and bearings (either the best: Mini-Z Dry Race Bearings or the cheaper Enduro Bearings

That should be enough to get started.

Note that you can order the stuff from Shop.TinyRC.com and choose to pick it up at the next Ann Arbor GTG to save on shipping costs.
