I've got to go +1 for the lister storm, caterham 7, and a 70's charger.

Brilliant work

i haven't seen any news in awhile and wanted to check in to make sure you are still doing well

just out of curiosity, have you ever thought of doing something off the wall like a panel van, transit van? our club tends to do some odd ball races like the mini-van race, 80's theme race, trailer racer, etc. and curious if you ever thought about doing something along those lines? something like a 66 ford F100, or 85 toyota sr5, even 66+ ford transit for the EU fans for trucks and for vans you have the unique line such as 63 holden panel van, or even 74 citroen HY van

Hello Arch,

Everything is fine here. I am busy on another project, basically creating a Mini-z club inside a 1/1 racecar club.

Yes of course I would like to create more unusual bodies including panel vans. I already have a Citroen HY 3d model...
These should be fun to race and not too prone to rollovers due to the fact that the print material is much lighter than ABS. Pickup trucks should be nice too. BTW I started a '69 El Camino :-)

I am only waiting for Shapeways (or another company) to offer a smoother material than white strong and flexible to reduce post prod finishing. Also waiting for the prices to drop, then I will start modelling again.

Alain

alain, have you looked into any of shapeways newer higher resolution materials? they have added a lot of new materials that offer much higher resolutions that eliminate the visible stepping.

Any thoughts on making 96mm wheelbase bodies? Maybe a Mitsubishi Evo 8 or 9 would work. Just a thought...
