pHREDD, Congratulations on your purchase, you will not be disappointed. No there are no track configuration examples included with the Mini 96 track. I suggest you refer to my method of assembly:
http://mini-zracer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13370
Once you’ve accomplished that your track design process, in real life, should be pretty simple.

Hammer, I think viewing your thread and watching you progress in your track layout is what pushed me over the edge im my decision to buy this track. I also have space constraints (called a wife) that helped me to decide to get the mini tile track.

pHREDD, I am currently working on some suggested layouts with the Mini-96 and we will be sending them in the track boxes on future orders. There are 96 tiles that come with this track, so there are many layouts possible. You can also find some suggested layouts on our website that show possible layouts for two wide L kits. Two wide L kits contain 12 outside, 12 inside and 52 straights. One Mini-96 track kit contains 12 outside, 12 inside and 72 straights, so you can use the two Wide L combinations as a starting point and add the extra straights to make your layout bigger.
If you go to www.kyosho.co.jp and go to "New Products" click on Parts and Accessories. Here you will see (4) different layouts that can be made with the Mini-96. This track is the same track sold by Kyosho in over 37 countries and contains the same amount of pieces. The tracks in the US just don't currently have the Kyosho label on the side rails like the overseas tracks.
I think what makes this track so great, is because of the size, layered tracks with bridges can be easily incorporated into your home track. I think a multiple figure eight track layout using the Mini-96 tiles would be great to see. Usually before I get around to setting it up and posting a picture, the forum members beat me to the punch. Maybe that would be a good contest. Design the ultimate layout for (1) or (2) Mini-Tile kits and win a free track. That way those that don't currently have any RCP products can still win just by drawing something up on paper. I have to run it by Mini-zracer first. I have some pictures from customers who have already used the Mini-Tiles in a unique and creative fashion. I will post some of these pictures shortly in the RCP Tracks album.
If you have any questions about the track or suggested layouts, feel free to email me at rcptracks@sbcglobal.net. Although I receive emails from many all around the world each day, I try to spend my late evenings responding to all the days inbox messages.

If I get the order from MZR tonight or first thing in the morning, your track will go out tomorrow. It should arrive at your door this week.

Cool! RCPMini-z is great to deal with, he stands by his product, trust me.
Also note, I’ll be posting plan views of the Mini 96 tracks I’ve set up at my house with dimensions, on the above linked thread.

I hope that I get mine too.... When I arrived at the office, I was informed that I had received a box, I said a big box, no a little box--it was the red Hummer body I ordered from MZR at the same time. Now I'm wondering should I change the OL body now or wait until the track arrives.... Decisions, decisions.

I did get conformation from the shop that my parts (track) were in stock and will be shipped immediatley (fingers crossed). Hopefully I will receive it toward the end of this week. I have a spare bedroom upstairs 15' x 15' and hope to clean it out and use it soley for my new RCP track!!! (should I tell my wife?)
Oh well she will find out soon enough.

Thanks, I've just been trying to warn everyone at the office about expecting a large box for me, especially since it is a 4-story office building without an elevator. Then again, this is the second time I tried to respond. Perhaps, it was the dumb joke I was trying to make so I won't attempt it again and hopefully, it doesn't "appear" after this post.

The track arrived today, but it is still in the box in the center of my office. The nice thing though is that my employer is letting me set it up at the office--more track may be in store later as we spoke about at RCX.
