Guinness World Record Race on huge RCP Track near Hamburg / Germany
Hi guys,
on October 30th a Guinness Record Race is scheduled near Hamburg in Germany. The track size will probably be twice as big as @ the Kyosho Masters in Fellbach / Germany this year.
We would like to welcome national and international racers to participate in this one time big event. Currently over 40 drivers have registered, but there are still open entry slots.
Hope to see some of you guys at the track!

So sorry we can't make it, same date is PNWC finals at USA.
Currently the entry list runs up to the high 70s, with some drivers still missing. I think there will be around 80 racers to participate.
I planned on making some pictures and a video, but instead will be on a business trip. But I expect others to to so and will share everything with you guys.

Thats one big track there... what is the best laptime so far? I like the section that divides and rejoins... as well as the two dots... reminds me of a video game.

Best Lap after setting up the track and running a few laps is just below 27 secs. My guess is, that with some more rubber it will be around 25 secs or even less. We will know by next sunday.
As for the divide/rejoin part I am with you, but the 2-dots-area is a pain to hit right.

Herman, the official race will be held the upcoming weekend. I don't know, what format will be used. Our regular races have one 5 minute training (to set up respective groups for Q1+2), two 6 minute qualifyings and three 8 minute mains.

How far is the track/club from Schwarzenbek? I work for a company who has its headquarters there. I travel for business to Schwarzenbek and would definitely like to race with you guys.....

Well, from Schwarzenbek to Stapelfeld it is 30km, which is a 30 minute ride or less by car.
So, whenever you are here, let us know and we will arrange a get together at the track.

The weekend is over, the World Record set. I have talked to some of the guys who participated and everybody says it was a blast and awesome - but nobody really knows, what the record is exactly. So I will keep asking...
