no, haven't booked anything yet. money is tight and i can't afford a room to ourselves (me and my son). the room is only used for sleeping and your only going to end up spending maybe 7-10 hours in it. i get there early sat. morning and leave sunday afternoon.

Hmm, but con is usual 3 days, right? I'm used to the more hardcore oversubscriptions of 8 in a room for 4 when it comes to cons, but we'll see.

Yeah, its 6-8th. So it would be two nights. Arch2b probably plans on staying one night, however, PM me if you need a place to stay and I'll see what inexpensive arrangements I can find out for you. I'm going to work on a group room for those wanting to make a cheap trip of it (like a true con goer).

yep, the con is longer but i only have enough time for sat/sun.

2st time we slept on the floor in the corner of a room i don't mind the floor if others don't. the nice hotel is literally a hundred steps or so from the con

Just let me know what you come up with. I'd definitely want to do fri>sat>sun if not Thurs > the above. I may or may not have 1-2 more people, it'll really depend on availability of the arrangements.

Okay, I'll talk to some of the other attendees and staff members I know and see what I can arrange for. Thanks for your interest in the convention and the race.

The race is really designed to bridge a gap between the two. I think a lot of convention attendees would enjoy racing. We hold the event to raise awareness to our great hobby and hopefully attract some new racers.

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been too active on the forums lately, especially in regard to our own event. [excuses]I've been really busy, and this year I'm not in three, but 4.5 departments for the convention.[/excuses] I'm hoping to delegate considerably *pokes Action B* and perhaps insist we revisit the org chart this year.

Aaaaaanyway. It's always a blast. This year I think it would be cool if the racers could crash a local joint for dinner or something, or even just beer and pizza back at the hotel. Lookin forward to seeing everybody!

I'm planning on coming down for this one, I missed it last year. Is there any way to get the ticket into the convention center ahead of time so you can avoid lines?

Thank you.

Can't get membership badges a head of time, but there is a reg line and a pre-reg line, the latter of which moves much faster. Unfortunately, and entirely my fault, we're too late for pre-reg. I have not been on point this year Next year I'll try to get the post up the same day that pre-reg begins.

Track should be set up Friday but I don't think Brandon plans on running any events until Saturday.

Thats the plan, I'm trying to keep the events compacted to that of Saturday and Sunday for those of you that may have work on Friday.

Yeah, man! We'd love to see you here. I had intentions of coming to next weeks race but turns out I have to go back to Virginia Beach for the weekend due to a birthday party.
