Flip Side 12.11 beta, LapZ support, Mac change and other fixes
I have a build of the software I would like people to test, especially if you have LapZ hardware or a Mac. Outside of that it has minor visual bug fixes and you can now stop the countdown instead of having to wait.
For the Mac I have switched back to using Carbon instead of Cocoa as the use of carbon was causing an error for some people when saving images.
The LapZ hardware support may or may not work yet, I do not have access to the hardware so I need someone to test this for me.
i will be working with giro-z setup this weekend, does this include any further development on that front? if so i will bring this with me to test.
No, there were no changes with Giro-Z for this build. There was a change in 12.09 for the Giro-Z that I do not know if you tried or not.
I think I need someone better with math/signal analysis to help me to get this working reliably. It seems like there must be something obvious I am missing with the mess of data the lap counter sends but I have failed to find it.
There are a few parameters I have hard coded for the Giro-Z that I could expose for people to mess with to see if they can get more reliable reading. They are things like a tolerance for the signal and how may transponders it will try to look for in the signal (when multiple are under the bridge all the signals get mixed together).
