New Iwaver bodies 2009

I visited today the Toyeast website and saw new Mini Cooper bodies and the all new BMW M3 body: very beautifull detailed! But when will Fangel update us about the AWD by Iwaver? We have heard nothing anymore from our friend Edmond! Anyway here is a picture of the new BMW M3

Hmmmm....will Iwaver disappear in the end and will kyosho be the only competitor and reigning the 1/28 market? Hope not. Last year Xmods releases two new bodies on the evo chassis and nothing else, Iwaver didn't released a thing. I like the new black M3 body for my 02M. I think I am going to buy one and use it as a Pimp my Ride project.

I went to Toyeast in Hong Kong directly to pick up 3 M3 bodies. I got one in white and one in gunmetal. The silver one in the last picture is for a friend.

The body is not bad for the price but the proportions are a little bit off. Also, the level of detail isn't quite as high as the Kyosho bodies. The CF roof is a nice touch though

ON WITH THE PICS!!!

Thanks for the pics. I ordered a white one from HK which should be here by the end of this week. Have you figured out what MR-02 offsets can be used?

I'm actually on vacation in Hong Kong without all my mini z stuff. I'm not even sure exactly what length the body is (94 /98).

The wheels that come with the body are 0N and 0W. If you want, you can probably get away with +1 (MAX) in the rear. For a MR-02, I wouldn't use anything higher than a 0N in the front. Anything higher will just cause the tire to catch walls.
