To elaborate on the original post, Majs Hobby Shop will have an offroad track in about 2 weeks. The wood chips have been pulled up and dirt will be delivered soon (thanks JUNIOR). We will be running Traxxas Mini slashs/mini revo's, Associated 18t series, Losi Mini lst's, etc. This track is pretty much for 1/16th scale vehicles and smaller. We tested it out last night with a temporary layout with the dirt that is currently there, and it was a blast. Sean ran his SC18, I ran my mini LST2 and Junior ran his Mini Slash. Majs hobby shop sold a total of 5 mini slashes last night just because of the exhibition that was put on through out the night. Full schedule, pics, and video's to follow.

today was certainly a blast. i had my bone stock brushed 16th scale slash running on basically an outline of a technical layout with a dirt wood chip mix but it was a blast none the less. we all had that little kid getting a sick new present feeling. i cant wait till the clay is delivered and we start really tuning these things.

You guys were having lots of fun playing in the dirt. I finally saw JR. putting good use of Mikey in his new career of raking!

I have a M18 that I am not running anymore. Would all of the radio equipment and batteries work for one of these mini trucks?

Pretty much.....
you could drop it into an M18T or the RC18 series(FT kits)....
for the larger vehicles the electrics maybe too small....

If the clay/dirt mixture can be hard packed w little or no bumps we definitely could race overlands and mini monsters....

this was just the perfect day weather was great and we all pitched in and got the job done. once the clay is down it will be perfect. the sc18 was even able to be ran without any problem, just imagine when its complete. everyone should be participating in outdoor racing.
