Hi BJS!

I'm certainly interested and will gladly be your first student! I've got my notebook out and pencil poised, waiting for the wisdom to drip down!

Here is my first question: If a fellow has an insanely powerful set of magnets and has tried a 45 turn armature with them but not been impressed with the speed of the motor, would you advise more winds or less?

Actually need to know what size of SWG you use first. And then is your magnetic is silver color normal size or thin size?

Hi BJS,

I've been winding the arms with 30 gauge wire. The magnets are normal 130 size motor magnets made from Neodymium that I got from Draconius. VERY powerful!

Let try 38T or 40T...
If you have Squart Bearing motor case with magnetic (Blue and White). Use 40T with 10 degree Advance timing is pretty good.
Other formula is 35T with 10 degree adv timing.
