Mini 96 Track Layouts

Hi, I'm considering getting a mini 96 track at some point in the near future.

I'm wondering where I can find some more information about the different track designs and layouts that can be made from a single mini 96 track kit. I can't seem to find any pictures or videos of a mini 96 track of any layout other than the stock picture as on the RCP site. Mini 96 pictures with optional parts (such as a sweeping 45) would be appreciated as well.

Thanks in advance.

This layout has more track than the original layout. Straight has expansion tiles. Has about 6 extra corners, and a bunch of extra straights.

You could allways use the track editor on RCP tracks to design different layouts. The standard mini 96 has 12 corners, if I am not mistaken. Each U turn has 2 corners. Dont remember the amount ot straights though.

any of the track on this page you can setup with a mini-96 track. they will be smaller that the tracks depicted. also the mini-96 doesn't have the bumpouts.

Thanks for the info guys, nice video EMU. I have checked out the track editor, I just wish you could start with the Mini 96 layout instead of the Wide L. I guess the only way is to count up all the parts so you know how much you would be spending, best bring my notepad.

Brian, I have seen the Salt Lake track layout page, very nice designs. I wasn't sure if they would apply to the mini-96 as well thanks for confirming. I was thinking about a longer more narrow layout with an extensive straight and a technical backside. But I would also like to use all the parts in the Mini 96 kit to get the most bang for my buck so to speak, I'll just have to get creative and spend some time with it.

I would probably buy the expansion tile set with it assuming I have the floor space. Does it come in black like the original tiles or is grey the only option?

it's the same color as the rest of the track, it's show in a different color so you know what you are getting.

(long time listener first time caller)

I was gifted a cardboard box of RCP tiles, turns out, they're for a mini 96.
I have now 96 of the bumpers, and 36 tiles that have no holes or anything in them, and nothing else, where do I go from here?

Are the mini 96 kit, or the individual tiles for it still available?

I did a little research, it looks as if I have the bumpers for an entire mini 96, and an expansion set, and all the blank tiles of an expansion set...
