RA21 Celica, Scratchbuilt
A whole new direction for me, and a little more of a challenge.
Everything's on hiatus, trying to focus my attention on this
for the next couple of months (well, maybe some attention on the RWB).
Making a portfolio piece demonstrating my use of styrene (and putty later on).
Check it out! I'll be posting regularly (hopefully).
I cheated, but only in the sense that I used a cut-up old shell as a 'support' base.
There were no clean cuts that indicates a proper, perfect starting box to build on.
More to come! Comments and huge criticism encouraged!

It's way too early to criticize you, but I expect Dr. K to jump in soon with some advice. I am a little wary of the way you've planned out the hood, it drops off pretty sharply as opposed to the original car's hood which was more gradual before cutting off above the headlights. The entire shell sits a little too high, the old Celica was a pretty fragile-looking machine and you should be good if you cut the fenders a little higher than what you've got going right now.
Best of luck! With time, these projects always come out awesome.

I definitely like where this is going man! Remember, clear plastic from boxes and a heat gun are your friends. Else, just keep going at it until you finish.

5 month bump! I used this as part of my portfolio at the state it was in:
and this helped tremendously! Needless to say, I'm now enrolled in Industrial
Design as my major starting September! Woo~
Now onto business. Finally got back into the mood to work on this, seeing that I
have almost all the time in the world. Thanks everyone for the comments!
@color01, I took the hood and fender analysis and put that to good use; the hood
is now more gradual, and the fenders are cut higher and will receive overfender treatments!
I put some putty on this (I ran out of my usual green Tamiya putty ), and
made some sideclips. The front clip is a Toyota Altezza clip, housed by more
strips of styrene.

To answer your question, its Tamiya Epoxy putty (the one you see is a Quick type). There's also a green alternative that cures slower.
Cheers

Is it hard to work with?
My driver seems to like to get too close to the walls at times
and some of our Bodies need some touch ups

@KA2AEV, the putty isn't hard to work with, though from my experience, the green (slower) kind is much easier to use. the one im currently using (quick type) sometimes turns into the texture when, while sculpting with wet fingers, the putty turns into a wet/rubbed tissue like substance (you know how tissue breaks when its wet and rolled?)
update!
Added more putty to the rear quarter panels (just one side for now), as well as the front right fender. Also did quite some trimming. Had to remove the side clips - the mount pushed the car off center from the wheelbase. Now it's well, and can manage AWD full lock (-3 camber, no toe in/out).

Don't mind the A pillar / roof line. I didn't sand anything down, so it looks way out of shape.

another update!
Got more putty on, had styrene-based overfenders (forgot to get a pic of it, but it's visible underneath) covered up with putty. The roof was looking very flat, so I heated it up, pushed it, and puttied it to give a more subtly curved definition (pictures dont do much justice). Also started working a little more on the front!

Ran out of putty, decided to use bondo for now. (not concerned with rigidity so much).
Roof elevated, as well as more sloped hood, and triangular concaved skirts.
Still roughing out the front bumper profile. The curves are ridiculously tricky.
