That time again, to work, and modify the LPR raceway! I have for a loooonnng time hoped that the amount of run time we do on my track would allow the corners to get rubber down and dirty, something similar to a real track. Since that has not happened, I took an old set of tires, and did the work myself.
The side benefit of these sections now, is that I have a sand based floor sealer in those same sections. So the black "rubber" helps drivers who do not drive here that often to know where the fastest lines are. IF your car is outside those sections, you will soon be eating guardrail as the track is painted MDF and slick on the outside. Very realistic to a real track...
