Do you mean this?
Well, as you can see, it is allready implemented and working.
I want to release something tomorrow, but I would need to edit my first post...
What has changed:
- 1 square is no longer 1 tile, a 30x30cm tile takes 3x3 squares, 50x50cm tile takes 5x5 squares...
- Added track tile management. With this feature you can add your own custom designed tiles. Tiles can be made different for 30x30cm then for 50x50cm.
- Tiles can overlap. Basicly you allways start with a tile of 100x100pixels in bmp format. Transparant color is green. You can make the tile wider and higher if you need, but the 30x30cm (or 50x50cm) basis should be in the left upper corner. The right and the bottom side will overlap the other tiles in the program. (Hope you get what I want to say, but you'll see when you try it).
- Track is saved in a text file, there is no limit in track wide or track height, you can set it up in meters or feet, you can mix up 30x30cm with 50x50cm tiles.
- You can make bridge: draw 2 tiles over each other, the program will warn you, but it is possible.
- You can turn raster on/off
What still needs implementation:
- Tile Count
- When to tiles overlap, bring a tile to top, or send a tile to bottom
- ... other stuff I maybe forgot.
What will not be implemented:
- Import old track files, sorry.
- Export to JPEG, PNG just rulez, sorry.
- 3D, to much work for what no real extra.
I really hope ppl will make there own tiles, even the basic ones, that look nicer than mine so we can use them to make a even more nicer looking layout on screen...
If you think I forgot something, lt me know.

The changes sound great..
I would be glad to help draw some of the custom tiles. I want to start with smoothing out the lines on the inside radius.. That is exactly what I was talking about though..
Could you send me, or post the images for the inside corner?
Thanks for taking your time to do this..

Ok,
I have put a release on my site today. Over this link you will be able to see the latest updates. Of course I will post the updates in English here too. I also added a Paypal donate button.
If any comments at all, just give it, and if I find some time, I will update the program. Hope you will be able to make your coolest designs now. And of course, for me it's allways nice to see some results online too...
I think Hood is working on nicer tiles, when he is finnished (take your time Hood) I will add them to the program.
If you have some custom tiles that you want to share, you can allways post them here or email me, or whatever you can find to communicate them.
So, have fun.
HaCo

I sort of have tiles drawn for another project I am working on
They could be scaled up/down to fit the editor... maybe...

naw, its something very simple... although I kind of did already I dont want to give it away till I am done with it... basicly thats just a zoomed out view of what I have in autocad, its hatched so I can screen shot it to any scale if you need them for tiles.. they look better close up, but its just a simple square with red/white walls .

HaCo,
I am redrawing some of the files and getting the walls to be the correct scale in relation to the entire 50cm tile.. The image that you showed was one of the new 30cm tiles, I thought it was a wide inside radius drawn funny..
I am no artist, but I will redraw all of your tiles in the correct scale. I was thinking of making the track Black, and the Walls White. This will help when I print tracks in B&W to show better. Do you have a problem with this? How about the Green Background, would it be better another color? I was thinking a lighter background, then the red would still work well with the inside and outside corners.
Any ideas?

More questions..
Does anyone use the corner that connects two middle straights like from the Narrow Ovals? I have never seen a pic or any tracks with this tile?
I would like to add a Blank FinishLine.. It might be a custom tile, but I have one and it looks cool in a three wide straight.. I was thinking of using this Tile, Tile8.. Anyone use this part?
HaCo,
I just donated 10$ for all the work you do on this track editor, I would be lost without it.. I hope everyone else does the same..

Hood,
As HaCo has explained it to me, the green is the transparent in the program (like blue on television). Its needed for overlaying track (for multilevel tracks or putting a track tile next to the wide radius inside tile).
I understood that was the only color you had to respect.
But HaCo will confirm or correct me on your question fur sure A soon as he gets online.

Well, I confirm. The green on the tiles are not drawn on the image that you see on the screen. The green on the tile is transparant. You can see it when selecting a tile, the green is not shown.
So, the green that you can see on the background is only filled once every time when the program draws a track, so it can easyly be altered to another color. I will add a colorpicker, in that way a user can choose the color he likes in the background...
For me black tiles are just as good as dark gray ones. If you make non-standard tiles, name it something with your nickname. Like haco01.bmp in my case...
No bugs found yet?
Thanks for the support guys!!

Haco,
I saw a picture of your track at your website. I noticed you have some USA mini tall rails mixed in with some Japan mini short rails. Do you want to replace your Japan rails with all the same height USA rails?
Also, I sent you an email regarding your track builder program.

Yes, we bought our 2x mini96 track on kyosho.de. Those tracks were equiped with the lower rails. It would be nice if you could replace them, it's a bit unstructured so up and down.
Are all tracks from Japan still equiped with lower rails?
I have replied your email, but apparantly even the mails that I send to belgian ppl are quite delayed, so I wonder how long it will take to get in the US...

Great! I will respond once I receive your email.
Yes, the Kyosho Japan Mini-z Grand Prix Circuit 30 tracks are all manufactured with the short rails. (It was a request by Kyosho to give the smaller track a better look and feel.)
The Kyosho Japan Mini-z Grand Prix Circuit 50 tracks are all manufactured with the taller rails.
We don't stock any of the short rails here in the US. We do stock conversion kits to replace the short rails with the taller version.
