Are there any cons to the longer body of the land cruiser?
Are there any cons to the longer body of the landcruiser compared to the pajero?
What are the pros of the land cruiser body compared to the pajero?if any
Is the toyota landcruiser less prone to flip while going around tight corners and on rough terrain than the Mitsubishi pajero.
Are the offroad capabilities of the two Overlands the same?
I hear that the pajero can conquer steep terrain more easily because of it's shorter body length, is this true or are they the same?
Would the longer body of the landcruiser be a problem when going on a relatively steep incline that has some rough terrain on it, would the pajero be better for this?

>> i got the pajero, my brother got the landcruiser... can't really think of any.. well probably con of the pajero is that since the body is smaller, it's harder to take off than the landcruiser... and both of the body clip/mount came of while i was trying to take them off/on...

>> really haven't tested them enough to cause any flipping... they do skid on smooth surfaces though... i.e. vinyl / wood floors etc.

>> basically... they're the same, but because of the shorter wheelbase, the pajero will have a slight advantage since it can go up steeper inclines compared to the landcruizer
biggest difference between the two, the toyota body is a hell of a lot easier to get off.
other than that, the toyota flips less but has a shallower angle of approach and depature due to its longer wheelbase. nothing that can't be overcome by speed! the red pajero body does look the best though.
even going offroad is the landcruiser less prone to flip than the pajero or is it the same? The pajero looks to have a higher center of gravity so it looks more flippable on offroad terrain.
Thanks a lot guys

the landcruiser has better crash protection than the pajero because the landcruiser has a longer body thus bigger crumple zones be4 u blow steering parts or crack diff cases

Nice, but no cigar.
None of the Mini-Z's have "crumple zones" (perhaps with the exception of the NSX ) as they are not 1:1 cars, they are plastic shelled RC cars.
Real cars have "crumple zones" as this site will inform you: http://www.euroncap.com/
Both handle impact fairly well, but the Land Cruiser is a little top heavy and long on the rear end, which can be problematic when tackling steep obstacles.
The steering gear, wheels and lower suspension mounts are well protected and will only get broken if the Overland is abused, as in treated like a stadium truck, which it is certainly not.
The steering gear is only at risk if the Overland is driven without a bodyshell.
