it's nothing fancy just something to mess around with
as you can see it's small but it's expandable. i don't have much space right now.
i have since painted the inside barriers yellow and they are fastened to the track with nuts and bolts.i use a zip zaps lap counter for a timing system for now.
thanks.
my micro-t is actually a little too fast now that i converted it to brushless.
i ordered a MR-02 a few days ago and that will be my new track car.
as you can see i don't have much space and the track fills up every inch of that space. it's not RCP but, it's better than nothing!
It's the same size as the track I set up at home. It's just me and a mate so it's not too bad a size,we have a blast on it.I can see that more than 2 cars could get a bit tight though.
Been using mine for about 18 months now and when we started we were awful,it was an achievement to get 1 lap without hitting the side. Now we chase each other quite closely and can lap fairly consistantly.
I think I would now feel almost lost on a large track, too much space!I would love to try a big one though.
Nice track for a space as small as that.
This gave me inspiration to make one when I get a Mini-Z.
Btw are those blue barriers made of floormate?
actually they are pool noodles(pool toys) i got them on clearence last season for about $1 a piece, and i only needed 2.
i picked up a small rcp, and have been using that lately but, the home made one does fit a little better in my apartment and will be used again.
the rcp just has better traction.
