useless comparison japan china motors...

Well I got around to taking apart one of the stock motors from a made in japan mini-z.. one im gona use brushes from to restore my old Evader..

Comparing it with my old Stock motor from a made in china, there are a few odd differences with the japan motor, like the brushes are slightly groved, once worn away that wont matter though... the armature is bigger... not in diameter but inoveral mass, the gaps between the holes are smaller... cuz the poles them self are larger... so theres more mass to rotate in the japan one. the capacitors are seemingly soldered on better, the solder joints holding the wires to motor look a bit stronger but will likely still break...

basicly nothing new just thought the larger armature was kinda odd...

Serrated brushes, and arms with tighter gaps, add torque.

Draco, have you compared the number of winds?
