Firelap 2.0 Tx problems

Has anyone else had problems with the firelap Tx? i just received mine yesterday, and whenever i release the throttle or quickly go to reverse, the steering jitters. It also moves to the left a lot slower than to the right, and also makes noise when i do. And today i got another chassis to test it on and the steering was going crazy without any input from the transmitter. and when i drive it i need to let go of the throttle in order to change direction.

Has anyone else encountered this? if so, how did you fix it?

I contacted toyeast about it, but i thought i'd try here in case someone could help me quicker.

Thanks.

It sounds like to me you are having problems with the trim settings. Each car will be different and the Tx needs to be adjusted to compensate. Your manual should tell you about steering and throttle trim. I dont remember exactly how to set it on that Tx. That should sort out some of the throttle settings.

As far as the jittery servo, thats somethng you should expect from this line of cars. Ive owned a few of them ,and so have a few of my friends. none of them are ever silent, and th4e steering was never perfectly smooth. If yo uare having it jitter while driving, its hard to compensate.....luckily (for us anyway) the problem happens mostly when there is no throttle input.

fangel or toyeast Im sure will take care of you. I had problems with both of my Txs. fangel offered a great deal of customer service to help me rectify the situation. Im sure he will do the same for you.

I think it might be because of adjustment. Also it might be because of interference.

The reverse might be because of ABS throttle, you could try to turn it off so that it would work normally.

It's not because of adjustment, ABS is off, both steering and throttle. And the car doesn't stop shaking when i let go of the steering wheel. I will try to post a video of what's happening so you guys can get a better view.

I think we would need to see to know what is happening.
It's kinda difficult to visualize it right now.

I'm having trouble with my camera's usb cable. I'll have to wait til tomorrow and use my girlfriends cable. Toyeast has replied saying to ship my tx back to them for testing and they'd send another one. But i'll still have the video tomorrow just to show you guys.

Thanks for your help anyways guys, much appreciated.
