What I really wanted was the F360GTC body, but alas no one has one right now, even the plain 360's are hard to find.....so I had to go with the next best thing, a simple plain F430 body set.
The street versions have a really raised front end with little areodynamics to it and really didn't look too sporty...so I added some styrne sheet stock to build up the front "Rock Catcher" lip. This also strengthens the front end greatly and help prevent front end damage in heavy impacts.
The next step was to find a suitable wing that fit the car. I looked high and low in my shop and found several in the "Bone Yard" of old bodies...but none seemed to fit the car or the look I was after. Then I by chance picked up the tattered old 350Z body that this one will replace and there it was...the perfect wing. I sanded the mounting pylons down to a more suitable level and drilled the body for the screws.
Next came the paint.....come on, a Ferrari HAS to be RED, plain and simple.
A few light coats of Banner Red on the body and ten minutes worth of hand paint to do the gills and intakes in flat black and the paint was done.
Now to find some proper whells and tires for this new ride.....back to the shop and the wheel box.....20 minutes of pawing through this box of used wheels finally produced a full matched set of alloy seven spoke wheels, COOL but too shiney. The solution was a coat of matching red for the wheels centers and a fine sanding back to silver on the lips. The tires are a new set of Topcad 15 degree radials.
Put it all together and you have a simple red Ferrari.....
...yeah I know the mirrors are missing...it's a runner, not a self queen (I don't do those) so the mirrors would have gotten knocked off the first day anyways.

Very well executed, I like the lip. My only concern would be that there should probably be a few more black parts on the car, mainly the intake 'bezels' and the diffuser.
