Oval

Viperdude,

Now that's what I call a real oval.
Other than the dimensions, I'd like to know the following:

Materials used? (looks like what we call "polistyrene" here in England)
What are you going to use as a surface?

Please, if possible, keep this Thread up to date on the progress..

I watch with interest

Nice track there, I love it..

The track is 6 foot by 30 foot and is made entirely out of styrofoam. I covered the styrofoam with fiberglass cloth and white glue for strength and the wires are attached to a winch so that it can be raised out of the way. I will keep you posted with my progress!

Mondo, just to translate, styrofoam is American English for polystyrene (though the latter is actually more specific) so you were right!

What did you use to cut it? How much does a block of Styrofone (spelling?) cost?
Looks awesome... can't wait to see finished product...
