Again nice workmanship, CT. Fast delivery and picked up 3 out of the 4 color since I am not into bling-bling chrome. Very nice fitment and made very solid feedback in turn in with only 2 to 3 grams heavier.

Cars look great!!! I have not had time to even take pictures of the other colors yet, but I will by the end of the week.
On the PN orange... We don't release any orange parts as a show of respect to PN Racing. We would never try to make money off of anything orange, that's Mr. Philip's color.

Thanks! I know what you mean since it is like you do not walk around the Vodafone Mclaren F1 garage wearing Ferrari color!

Got mine, thanks Cristian! Silly question, is there a best way to remove the cover once installed? The plastic ones used to flex out of the way cleanly, however this aluminum one certain should not be the one flexing...

Try to slide it back, that usually works for me. If not, a light pry with a small flat head screw driver should pop it out without any damage to the part or the chassis.

Just ordered one... seems like this is a must-have. Just too cool to pass up, especially when you've stripped/broke around 15-20 of the plastic lids over the years.

I'll keep that in mind, thanks! Didn't realize it can slide back.

I'm not going to bother with a picture of the same cover already posted.. but...no glitch with my Futaba 3pk! I got the blue color and it's really nice.
The cover is a very tight fit with the TQ wire, it's squished against the chassis lol. I'm just going to solder the battery wires lower to avoid sanding the cover.

I got my first cover installed last night. Fit is perfect (as Tjay stated). There is no play at all from the cover to the chassis. I had to make some small adjustments to the tri-shock, to compensate for decreased slop that is on the plastic covers. I was able to lock down the damper plate on the cover much tighter than I ever was on the stock or SP cover.
Needless to say, I plan to install an alloy cover on all of my MR03's. I couldnt really feel a weight difference, since all of the mass is centrally located, and relatively low.

Perfect fit! Any chance of an 02 version? (or does one exist already and I missed it?)

I was skeptical about this piece because of the additional weight at the top of the chassis did not seem like a good idea. I thought the positives, out weighed the negatives in the end, and I think this is one of the best crafted pieces of aluminum for the Mini-z I've ever seen. Fits perfect and looks just like the plastic piece, nice work Reflex.
