PRO-Z is a fraud. Please, answer...
Hello all:
I made an order on 3th of January. 3 months after I made the other I got a package from SJAKES20@AOL.com. The package only had 2 of the 5 items that I ordered (chassis and HS-55 micro servo).
When I started to mount the chassis I saw that the holes where the steering is mounted, were twisted, making the steering unmountable. I tryed to contact with SJAKES20 for more than 3 weeks and after that time I made an AOL account for the AOL messenger and I could talk with him, because he didn't answer to me by e-mail.
He told me that this was a fault from the factory and he will send to me other chassis in perfect condition and the rest of the things in my order.
4 months and still get nothing that I can use.
After 6 weeks I didn't receive the rest of the order and the new chassis. I contacted with SJAKES20@AOL.com. He told me that he didn't send the chassis yet and that he doesn't have some of the things in my order after near 6 MONTHS!!!
I told him to give my money back and I will send back the things that he send to me (the bad chassis and the servo). He told me to send the package back to him and then he will give my money back. What the ****? I send the cash without get nothing and he (after his "painful" job) can't make the same.
I made lots of orders to USA, China, Hong-Kong... and this is the first time that I have this embarrasing problem. 6 months to get a simple "toy" car. I ordered a JATO from Stormerhobbies and I got it in 6 days.
Well... SJAKES20@aol.com told me that if I don't send back the order, he will send the things that I still don't get from the order that I paid 6 months ago.
The question is, what would you make in my situation? I want to know your thinking about this.
By the way, excuse me for post this here, but I'm a bit desperate with this guy.

P.S: I know that i'm not the unique person with problems with this guy. I wrote this here because the other post seems to be a bit lost. Please, let's make a bit of pressure to see if this guy or some one near to him, can solve this since we can't make nothing.

I've been holding back my feelings on this situation for a while, but after reading this, I thought I would share.
It seems like Scott just likes to tinker with the chassis for himself and a small group of friends. His marketing sucks ass. He cannot get the product to his "customers" in a good fashion (or any fashion for that matter). Back in December when he had that "special" (which is still on his never-updated site; another example of bad marketing) his chassis kits were still not ready and probably didn't even exist except in prototype form.
I had ordered a chassis from the "special" and was asked if I wanted a prototype version because that was all that he had. I told him "no, I want the real deal."
"Oh, you'll have to wait a while for that."
"Why should I have to wait? Your site suggested that the chassis kits were all made and ready to go."
No answer.
I filed a claim with PayPal, promptly got my money back, and decided that I would never send him money for his pseudo-products ever again. That was it.
Sure, some of you will defend Scott, and to all of you I give a firm "wtf?" There are more people out there who have been lied to and received no product than there are people who have had a "good" experience with Scott. He might actually be a nice guy who has another job and does this on the side, but if he can't do this efficiently and well, he shouldn't do it at all (or he should have someone else do it for him).
I sure hope that Swedish chassis comes out so everyone will stop bitching about the Pro-Z. Kikerumbo - File a claim with PayPal and get your money back. Send the chassis back to Scott and forget about it. Someone else more reliable is sure to come up with something better in time.

this is why it needs to be handeled thru mzr we all have had good service from here .
mzr can order the sets and we will get them when he does.mzr has more clout and we the little guys wont get screwed by other little guys
no offence carbo but i have seen to many fly by nights come thru if mzr gets them in stock i will buy them its much safer for me

I filed a claim in PayPal, but after 45days PayPal would give it back. I ordered the Pro-Z 7months and 3days ago.
If Scott doesn't want to solve this. I wouldn't get my money back never. And that is steal my money, for sure.
I wouldn't send him the crappy chassis if I don't get my money back plus the shipping costs to send it back to him.
Do any one know if there is any law that I can use versus Scott?

I'd like to get a V5 chassis from MZR but my only concern is that in an indirect way I'd be supporting what "Scott" is doing or has done. I understand that MZR has a better sales and customer service policy than Pro-z but it's still "Scotts" product and it doesn't feel right to support him.
I've had claims with paupal and I've always got my money back in a few weeks. Keep trying with paypal and keep emailing Pro-z. Pretty much all you can do.
