Mini-Z radio question

on the miniz radio, there are 2 black switches that are recessed into the radio, they are on the top right next to the white on/off switch. what do these 2 black switches do?

also, there is a charging jack or something right near the grip, how can i utilize that? where do i get a rechargable battery and charger for the radio?

Those two switches are for reversing the signals.
If you flick them across, then the Mini-Z (Or any RC car) will reverse when you move the throttle trigger in the forward position.
The wheels will turn left when you turn the wheel right.

As for the charging jack, I don't actually know if that functions or not.
I am sure other Members can clarify that.

The charging jack works, but is not recomended.
As there are no "brains" in the Tx for charge control. So you either have to have it on the charger, which means you have to modify the Tx for the delta peak charger to work correctly.
Or risk frying your cells and Tx when you forget to unplug the powersupply after whatever time you think it takes to charge the cells.
edit: spellchecker needed. There is one on AVS forums... how about it mr. mini-z ?

I'll check it out, I know there is one that you're supposed to be able to integrate with.

The servo reversing switches come in handy if you ever use your mini-z (Perfex) transmitter with other cars. For example, the mini-z transmitter works fine with the switches in the standard position for my 4 wheel drive mini-x. I also use the mini-z transmitter with my Dynamite Rocket Racer sometimes when I don't feel like putting the batteries in my Rocket Racer transmitter. In that case, I have to switch the throttle channel reversing switch on the mini-z transmitter so that forward is forward and reverse is reverse.
