Lamborghini Restoration!!
Hey Guys, well some of you may know that i've been running a limited edition Lamborghini Murcielago and ... well..... she's getting a little beat up, and theres some nasty scrathes on her, so i'm doing a before and after of the job at hand, to show you all how it goes, here she is before, i'll be doing it some time over the next week, i'll post up the results...
Laters....
Look at them scratches on the bonnet, thats from a spur gear!

How did a spur gear do that? Did another car run over you or something? Poor beautiful car, so sad. That's why I need to find me a beater Murcielago. I'll only run my black Murc on my home track with no traffic.
Just like to point out something to you, there is no U in LambORghini.

Well spotted with the typo, i thought it was just an 'o' but then i saw it in another thread with a 'u' so i put one in...lol
I had to go back and sort out a load of typos, i typed it up so fast during my lunch break, i got back and read it and was supprised that you were the only one pointing out my errors...lmao
Yeah the spur gear. Gutted man, it was an AWD with an alloy spur gear
But i'm very confident i can get it out.
I could never own a model like this and not run it, especially the amount these things cost, if i wanted a nice model of a Murcielago i'd go out and by a DieCast at half the cost and twice the detail! These things never look as good on the shelf as they do on the track
You could die having never run the poor thing, its like cageing a Lion and never letting it out to see it as it should be!
I have to say, i dont get people buying a half detailed Autoscale to sit on a shelf, buy an AutoArt! They are the single best 'off the shelf' detailed models you can buy, and they're cheaper than an Autoscale, they even put the numbers on the dials on the dashboard, regardless of how big or small the model is!

Sorry, not sure about the paint, but if you are in the UK, Halfords do a colour-match system.

My new Murcielago also has some scratches on it, not as bad as yours though. I'm sure this can be buffed out. I'm wondering if the scratch remover polish for the Ipod's can clean this up.
The Ipod kit comes with three bottles. A daily cleaner, a fine scratch remover which I'll try, and probably for your car, a heavy scratch remover.

good suggestion. But I've already got the Ipod stuff for my Ipod. Might as well use what you've got!
