Questions , questions , questions , help!!!

Hi all , Im askin these questions to see if all you can give me the final push into gettin my X5 overland Mini-z...

* by diminishing length and width of chassis...can I fit a racer body to the overland chassis?
*Ive heard that the PN SO1, SO2, SO3 motors and faster than the XSpeed..Can you fit these motors to the OVerland?
* What are Servo Savers?...FETīs?....FET Chips?
* Do all overland cars have the same chassis?...Is there a strongest car in the overlands?
*How do Mini-z Racers perform on rugs , and asphalt?....How about the Overlands?
* Are there plenty of Overland hop-ups available....Are there hop-ups available enough to not make the Overland a useless purchase?

Thanks.

let me give it a try
* by diminishing length and width of chassis...can I fit a racer body to the overland chassis?
no, they are different enough to make it not worth while.

*Ive heard that the PN SO1, SO2, SO3 motors and faster than the XSpeed..Can you fit these motors to the OVerland?
Yes they can altough you will need either the internal or external turbo. I have had problems with the external turbo in my OL and when ready, I will be doing the internal one again.

* What are Servo Savers?...FETīs?....FET Chips? Servo savers is actually a spring mechinisim between the steering plat and the servo gear. this takes the tension off the gear so that the teeth do not break during crashes. The FETS are the electronic chips that help regulate the current that goes to the motor.

* Do all overland cars have the same chassis?...Is there a strongest car in the overlands?
the chassis are the same but have different settings for the wheel length. I hear the older bodies are stronger than the new ones but I have the X5 and love it.

*How do Mini-z Racers perform on rugs , and asphalt?....How about the Overlands?
The racers run best on flat/smooth surfaces. the OL's are more versital and can be run on thicker carpets and even in hard packed dirt.

* Are there plenty of Overland hop-ups available....Are there hop-ups available enough to not make the Overland a useless purchase?
There is enough with hopups and homemade customizing that the OL's are NOT a useless purchase. I have 2, my son is getting one and I am looking for another deal to get a 3rd.

Hope this helps and welcome
