Question New Mini-Z MR-02 coming soon?

Hey guys,
I found this article from the end of october on rceasy.com. I've been looking for the article on kyoshoamerica.com where they are refering to, but didn't find it.

The only wording from their site is : “New Mini Z MR-02 Coming Soon….”
http://www.rceasy.com/2008/10/25/kyo...2-coming-soon/

Maybe Tim Johnson can say something about it?

Maybe KyoshoAmerica has released some secret info, but then erased it again?

Let's start some speculation!

Happy christmas to everyone!!

This is probably about the new ASC body lineup. I can't imagine how they would top a 2.4 Ghz MR-02...

Possibly. Why not an chassis like the dNano, using a lipo and with a standard installed transponder?

Just guessing...

I think that Kyosho would only release a new body...not a new chassis or else they would call it something else. They wouldn't still call it a MR-02.

Thats what I'm thinking. Also, I don't really fancy LiPos for 1 simple reason: costly and inconvenient. For the price of one 2-3 hour runtime LiPo, how many sets of Orions can you buy? And with only 2 sets you can have a non-stop performance since recharging takes even less than its runtime. I say NiMH is the way to go. If anything, I'd want to see a cheap TX with 2-3 car memory for the same 100$ to make things more convenient and keep battery usage to the new 4xAAA standard.

just came from h.k. last month...
got a body just like that (gulf f1 - hopefully will take pics and post them soon)...
and saw some ready kits with that body on it... (still 27mhz am)
didn't look like anything special, just another new body...

the hotter body was the lark version... saw only two autoscale bodies... one wasn't for sale... and the other (which obviously came from a ready kit) cost way too much...
