Project: AE86 aka Sexy Pants

Alrighty....after that epic failure on my Altezza I will be starting a new project. I don't have a specific plan of action for this body. However, I will be painting the body pink. I am probably going to end up making this look like a thrashed drifter.

Here are some pictures with .5W Tagu wheels all around. I will be modding the body to fit the wheels with 0 degrees of camber on all four wheels.

Here is the spoiler I made for it:

I cut two pieces of styrene and super glued them on top of each other. Than I super glued it to the body.

Then I cut the main piece of the spoiler and super glued it at an angle to the little lip I made earlier.

Last, I just filled it up with putty.

I hope I have better luck with this project than my last one!!!!

Thanks for looking!

What kind of putty are you using for that? The yellow seems to point to the Tamiya light curing putty?

Slick work on that spoiler so far. I also followed the Altezza buildup, just never posted there. I have had my share of projects tank on me.

Thanks! The wheels are .5mm offset wide wheels all around.

I mocked up the rear bumper, this is not going to be the final product. I am just getting a feel for what It will look like. I am probably going to tone down the side pieces on the rear bumper, because they look a little to low/aggressive. Let me know what you think!

Hey for that pink, I once painted a Volkswagen Golf pink and it turned out really great. I think I used a Testor's paint called Hot Magenta or something like that. Some people may call it Pepto Bismo Pink, but in all honesty, it look'ed really good. It didn't look like a girl-ish pink either, Try and find it, I'm pretty sure it was called Hot Magenta

I am using Tamiya PS-11 Pink. It is pretty light, but should look pretty cool. I don't mind if the car looks girly or not. I just want it to be different.
