The new plates I received from Kyosho America are good to go. To kyoshos credit, that's the first thing I can remember being defective in 15 or so years.
Similar issue here. I bought the red aluminum OEM tie rod set from kyosho and they bind up the steering. Tried it on a different buggy and same thing. Popped the plastic one in and steering is fine again.
Sorry for resurrecting an old thread but these aluminum tie rods are just a fraction too thick/wide. I'm returning to kyosho for a refund hopefully.
