Wheel Offset

Hi all,

Before anybody hits me about using the search, I have. I'm trying to learn how to identify wheel offsets. I have a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti MR-02 and I haven't been able to find out what the wheel offset is for this particular car. I bought it because it was unique and not one that many people had. I didn't realize that there wouldn't be as much info on it. I checked in the FAQ's as well as the members only section and nobody has the listing for the 612, including the Kyosho offset charts that were posted.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Clanure

your car should have come with a card that showes the offset of that paticular car. Look through the papers that came with it and see if it's there.

Atomic Mods also has a website with all of the bodies, the chassis that they fit and the offsets. Go wild!

it was actually compiled by EMU - the member of this forum (and my personal friend).
So if you search for his posts...

Thanks for the replies everybody. I checked the AM site, and then used the card that came with the car to confirm. They both check out. That's exactly what I was looking for.

Thanks again everyone.

The 612 uses 0mm narrow (8.5mm) fronts and 0mm wide (11mm) rears

You can use any of the NSX wheels. Most of the Kyosho 0mm offset wheels are labeled for the NSX, but can work on any car that uses 0mm offsets.

Thanks for the credit michvin

I wish that I would have known about this a couple of days ago. I have been searching and collecting the smae data and creating a spread sheet with it. I guess that I can stop now.

BTW, nice work EMU!

Thanks. I am planning on writing another one, with more detailed info about wheel offsets for MR02 bodies for MR015/MA010 chassis'. Of course I will post the info for the MR02 bodies on the MR02 chassis as well, and have it posted on the forums...

Let me know if you are interested in the file that I have so far. It has less models than your list, but I have some more detailed information. I'd be happy to send it to you either as an Excel file or a .pdf.

Sure, feel free to send it. My email address is the same as my AIM handle in my profile @aol.com Excel format would be best even though I use Open Office (Sun's version of MS Excel which is free).
