Fascinating location... congrats.
But I tell you, 90'x45' is tooooo biiigggg for Mini-z's. You'll get bored driving around it.
The good thing is you can use big motor and accceeleraateeeee all the way!! Oh, one detail: you may have problems seeing the mini-z on the other side of the track!
Anyway is cool. We have a dual track, that we race mini-z and 1/18's. So it's about 30' x 21' with a 4' rail width, and it's really a super highway for mini-z's!!!

If we get more tracks this size we might actually be able to push for LiPo-powered Mini-Z's. The venue looks sweet, I think I should plan at least one trip down sometime while I'm still down in SoCal.

Hey, I'm using your wires on my motors and if your track's as good as your wires, I'm there! (From Orange County)

Thanks all replies guys.
Sorry for replying late, I havn't received any subscription emails from this forum.
I'm thinking, put Kyosho mini-z carpet on top of my carpet.
I can easily remove the barriers, because I'm using CRC Barrier system.
We can have mini-z day, if it works.
Any idea, advice please leave a post.
Also, If you sign up www.tqrcracing.com, you will get free practice coupon.
Thanks.

Grip looks surprisingly good. How much setup work did you have to do to get them to handle like that? How hot did the 33t get with the 14t pinion. I would think that the 35t may be a better option geared up like that, should have more torque... The slight decrease in RPM shouldnt make as much of a difference. I think that would be a fun class
