i remember when i first got an OL and mr. 2b had recommended the mzr bearings as a must have... i went ahead and took his advice and the improvement was obvious... so i had to get a set of the mzr bearings for my monster for the first upgrade...
anyway, i got em and the improvement is, again, obvious...
so i ran a quasi-experiment to quantify the improvement... some improvements like less wobbliness of the from wheels i could not measure, but i did notice...
Front wheel spin time (sec)...

w/bushing - 6, 6, 11...
w/bearings - 40, 40, 47..
The rear diff. and axel spin time is about 1 second with bushings and about 2 to 3 seconds with bearings... also everything just felt smoother with the bearings...
The set i got (7 count) did not include the two main/idler gear bearings, but i had an extra set of OL main/idler gear bearings and they seem to be the right size???? http://mini-zracer.com/shop/product.php?pid=768
