are they coming out with products for 1/28th? seems like a strange market to sponsor for them.

If Binh's posting it, it's NOT a typo...
...and if ILR is running the show, it will be yet ANOTHER top notch event. Count us in!

Ruf: You are correct, this is not a typo.
Myself and many others in the Mini-z community feel that such an event is necessary for our scale to grow. Tekin has stepped up to the plate and sponsored such an event for us. More information will come forth soon, but basically think of the Roar Nationals. This event will be open to any 1/28th scale chassis with any electronics.
thank you.

This is incredible and is what the top echelon of drivers should want. All those that discussed rules with Yasuji last spring. Here it is. Lets do what we can to make sure this is successful.

not to be a party pooper but before we go gaga over this, it would be nice to actually see some details. up until now, all i know is what is written on the image. it doesn't really tell me much, if anything.
for the record i'm all for standard racing rules/formats.

I like it.....
Im curious as to how many open racers will attend and what chassis will win.... a highly modded 02, mrcg, or the like, or will it be a mr03....

Basically what we are doing with this event is to run it similar to a Roar sanctioned event without any bias from any manufacturer. There will be three classes, stock, mod, and pan. All classes will be open to any chassis, 2WD or AWD. We are also going to open this up to lexan bodies. A two day event is planned. We have tentatively four qualifiers scheduled with a resort after every round. All race results will be posted with chassis, motor, body, and battery, similar to how they post a Nascar or MotoGP race. Official rules and regulations will be posted shortly with sign ups. Please stay tuned for more information.
thank you.

So, motors are going to open (i.e. handwound)?
If so, I got the goods if anybody feels like bringing the heat to this event, just shoot me a PM. Heck, I might even make it out to this one, it should be a blast.
