Going wide in tha front

I got my NSX today, altho I did order a CLK, ARGH!!. . .and it look really really ugly with the front wheels deeeeeeeeeeep inside the body, so is there a way to lengthen each front axle thingy?. . .i think it might do good for the stability and the looks.

And would it be better to have wide wheels in front or skinny ones? handles differently?

Thanks!

having wides all around will take time to get used to... will solve to some extent understeer...

to widen track width (distance from right outer wheel to left outer wheel) try putting some washers before putting on the rims...

hope this helps...

Yeah and grind some -of the plastic off the back of the knuckle so the axle sticks out further to allow the washers to be used.

When I get around to it, I will be finding some 2mm bolts that are longer than the stock front axles, and then use the original bushings as spacers.I have alloy knuckles so replacing the axles is the prefered option, rather than machinig any material away. This will increase front track quite a bit. I have just ordered the squat diff shaft which is adjustable, and apparently gives another 7mm of track at the rear. Problem solved.
