Internal vs. External

I was wondering what all the differences are between internal and external turbos. I've read a lot about them, but I would like a list comparing the two and your opinions on which is better. I would use the IRF fets, but I don't know what external to compare it to.

the best external would be the T3/T4 turbo!

or the concept big block V8!
