So the race will be 6 hours long.
Here are the rules so far:
1) 4 AAA Nimh cells only
2) Kyosho stock chassis only, Any model with aftermarket parts allowed
3) Rubber tires made for Mini-Z's only (any brand) no silicone tires allowed
4) 3500KV brushless motors or 70 turn brushed motors allowed, Any gearing
5) Any wheel base using a auto scale body
6) 6 teams will be the max allowed to enter the race
7) The amount of drivers that form each team will depend on the amount of people that want to participate. The race directors (Gary, Ray, and myself) will have the say if any team will need to add anyone else to their team. We will try our best to keep the teams even in the amount of drivers
8) Each Driver will need to drive for one battery pack minimum
9) We need everyone to do their best to always have marshals out at the track at all times
10) Each team must bring a pot-luck food item to be shared with the other teams for lunch. Please let us know what that item will be
This last item I would like to hear your vote. The new lap counting program can run the race two ways
1) each driver can run his own car or
2) all of the drivers on each team can all drive one car
Please tell us your vote with a #1 or a #2

I vote #2. I personally don't feel that it's an enduro if everyone drives their own car. One car per team is fair, and really becomes a race team, where you need to develop a setup that works for everyone on the team.
No PN chassis will change the game plan a little, due to no battery swaps with body attached. I was planning to build up a PN chassis for this reason, haven't tried one yet, but it's a fair ruling.
Do autoscale bodies include TRP, GL, jomurema bodies, or other scale hard bodies made with compatibility for mini-z as well?

If it's one car per team, wouldn't that be option #2? Or am I confused?
I would vote for option #2. (given my interpretation above)
I also think my vote should count less since travel may prohibit my attendance. Also,. If you have too much interest and teams will get too big, I think non locals like myself should be excluded for the sake of your regular participants.

Is there a date set for this yet?
Specifically what city would it be taking place in?

Just FYI
Like Velcro (and it’s general reference to all hook/loop fasteners) the term Autoscale is synonymous with and generally understood to refer to any mass market manufacturered hard plastic body with windscreen compatible with stock installation method (nose and chassis clips). In which case, these should be allowed. Note this distinction does not include the necessity to include wheels as Route 246 makes Auotscales however does not include wheels in all release formats.
To expand a bit, the term Mini-Z is also synonymous with 1/27-28 scale in general and no longer specifically infers Kyosho brand specific.
I don’t believe anyone would be turned away that wanted to participate. Should non-local teams want to participate, locals would need to adjust and or pick up non-locals to comply with max 6 car field. If your non-local, just be sure to hit us up to let us know your interested in either field a car and or joining a local team. If fielding a car, that would be most important to let us know so we can adjust local teams as necessary.

Once a firm date is set, I'll check with my guys and we can let you one way or another for sure.

The date will be February 9 with a snow make up date of 23rd. February is a fickle month for weather so we have a reserved make up date in case of bad weather on the 9th.

It appears I am a single driver looking for a team. The other 2 guys that were considering it have conflicts that weekend.

As of today no one is committed to a team. We actually brought it up but no one committed. I don't think we want to stack the teams either but as of now we haven't established any teams.

EMU, GIHOSU and BK Hobbies Richie are planning to run as a team so far. Mike are you in need of a team, or will you be bringing your ringers with you We havent cemented anything yet. I dont think that Tommy is going to make this one though.
Im already practicing my tire changes Im fumbling and taking way too much time.

Since the rules package as stated pretty much rules out any true endurance tactics I would not field a team. I would like to be there though just to spend time with the group. I know that Brian(Cheeseburger) and Brian Swaney would probably like to take part.
I have quite a number of things coming up that may keep me close to home. I have the eyes taken care of which still leaves the biggie as well as a couple of the lesser items I spoke to you about. I will send you an email later.
