Wow, no idea production run was as low as 200! So thankful i bought 2 of each then! Get to race one and keep one . They don’t respond well to comment on faceballs. Will they make second runs? Will they ever release unpainted version? Given they sell through rather quickly, there is demand in the market...

My understanding is that they will not have an unpainted variant, and no re-releases are planned.

unfortunate. Makes these among the rarest autoscales then a run of only 200.

I am not sure of the exact number produced... but I know that it is not many, and the cost for such low volume is actually quite good.

the cost per unit is astounding when you take the production run into account. it's the sweet spot for autoscales actually between $40-50. lets face it, the days of $25 autoscales is never to return

The quality for the dollar on those $25 ASC was amazing! Even at $40, it isn't bad...

I think I had seen them state July release for the ZR1, and an not sure, but I think that they stated the ASC will include LED. The auto English generated closed captions are terrible, but that was what I took away from the video on the kyosho channel.

Has anyone heard from Kyosho USA on when they are expected to receive the C7? There seems to be a more pronounced delay in this release than normal.

The Tokyo Hobby Show gave us plenty to chat about till December... The upside is we continue to get a constant release of new Autoscales and re-releases of some others. Maybe not some of the more desired older models but it's certainly good to see them putting new products out for the line! If I could pray for one thing, it would be that Kyosho stick with the EVO system for more than a millennial's attention span For the love of all holy, it works, stick with it and make it that much easier on all of us. To lesser extent, keep the FHSS RWD/AWD/FWD going as well so we can hopefully put the scourge of Sports and Sports2 behind us.
