The factory has been having trouble keeping up with the demands from other vendors so we are working on a new source. So far the bearings we have eceived are excellent. I am hoping that it is just about 2 more weeks.

Just picked up a set to try out and I am very disappointed
especially the front bearings which have only one side shield.
Even with multiple times cleaning it with motor cleaner and bearing oil,
it just does not spin freely.
Worst thing happen was trying to remove it from an Atomic 19 mm rim in gentle wiggling, it actually fell apart.
I am not expecting much from a $9.99 set but at least it should spins somewhat freely and be more durable then falling apart since frequent cleaning is part of bearing maintenance.

I have found the atomic wheels to be tight on all bearings. I have yet have a rr set come apart due to this. As far as quality of the bearings all I can speak from is my experience, and these bearings are the best on the market. They are higher grade than ceramics and I like the single sided shield on the front bearing as it makes it easier to clean. Best bet is just shoot CT a email and I'm sure he would help you out. If this is your first set I would not give up on them as you just got one bad set.

I don't see the grade so I just let it go since just try to be different. I just do some more shopping on what I normally used in last 2 years which works well at same cost.

I am sorry your bearings were not to your expectations, however, if you want a replacement set, we are more than willing to replace them. We stand behind our products 100%.
Sometimes, the quality of a specific tube might not be up to spec. We sell 1000's of these monthly and checking each individually is counter-productive and honestly, not done.
However, keep in mind that there are some wheels in which bearings are tight. if this is the case, it is tough for them to spin freely as the tighter fit pushes the races onto the balls, making them tight.
