Finally!!!!!

I finally decided to make the plunge into mini-z's

After playing with microRS4's for the last year the lure of F1's were too much.

Plus I found a deal I couldnt pass up

I bought a slightly used Honda for $56 to my door(broken front wing) from Tower

Ordered Ferrari body set #1
Kyosho Ball Bearings
Kyosho Ball Diff
Kyosho kingpins
extra pinions
for $100 from Japan
was going to order from here but couldnt find Schuey's body in stock

So basically I ended up with a Ferrari F1 with bearings and Ball diff for the price of what i would normally pay for a new one (with a extra honda body with a cracked front wing as bonus)

Too good to pass up

What do you guys think?
I'm excited, what else do you guys recommend
Thinking of getting the alloy rims
Anything else that is absolutely necessary

I'm planning on getting a Mini-z Racer next however I want to wait until the Yokomo comes out to compare

One more question, I have the Ko MARS do they make a mini-z module like the M8?

Thanks in advance

Sorry for all the questions

The first thing you need to do is make sure the thing works. There have been a number of posts recently that describe problems with "used" Z's. Decent range, only slight glitching, forward and reverse (I know... DUH, but make sure you CHECK for reverse). Give it the run down before you decide its okay. That way you can raise the issue with the seller right away... ESP, with someone from overseas.

Good LUCK! You'll LOVE your F1! I do!

Actually, the Mars module is no longer available, it was discontinued as Ko Propo will be releasing a replacement of some sort soon - though they won't say exactly what this replacement is (i.e. a Mars module, or a new Mini-Z-specific Tx ?).
