I'm Gettin a Mini Z can someone scan the manual?

Can someone help me out. I am COMPLETELY new to Hobby radio control can someone tell me the basic do's and dont's of a Mini Z. Does anyone have a instruction manual from a stock Z?
Thanks in advance.

*Edit* would it be a good idea to heat shrink the antenna so i dont accidentally fry the esc? or will that hurt my reception/range?

timinater...

it's really a nice "first r/c to get" since all you have to do put in the batts and have fun... i would suggest that you get the second version though (the one with the ferrari enzo body) since it is a better version over the original.... (plus you don't spend too much on hop ups) for other questions look at the "faq" section... or do a search...

here's something i did to my antenna...

http://mini-zracer.com/forums/showth...ped+up+antenna

oh yeah and invest in good rechargable nimh batts...

Yep, get those rechargable batteries...they make your car faster, too! I would recommend some sticky tires...sometimes the stock tires will spin out too much. Softer back tires help a ton.

These mini-z's are pretty painless tho. I still have my 1st one and it works perfectly (amazingly enough)!

What im thinking of doing to my antenna is dipping it in rubber cement letting it dry, dipping it again blah blah so its all covered. Or put heat shrink on it. Then just scrape off the rubber cement where the antenna needs to contact.

i heatshrank my antenna. pretty easy. goto radioshack and by yourself either 2 or 3 packs of the black or colour heatshrinks. why 3 you ask? well i guess it depends on the size of your antenna. 2 would be good for the stock one, but i made a big long one, and it required 3. but its really easy. dont need to bend your antenna or nothing. just bend the heatshrink before you heat it up. and remember, heatshrink shrinks both ways, so you might get a gap.
