Started Carving Again (RCX Rock Crawling)

I've started carving the RCX rock crawling display and thought I would share some of the work in progress. The total display will measure 24 feet long X 12 feet deep X 7 feet tall at its tallest section. There will be two trails that will transverse up the mountain and back down again. The foam will be covered in high density rubber and custom textured to look like real rocks. The display will be used at RCX 2006 for 1/18 and larger rock crawling trucks.

Here is one very preliminary photo of one of the panels. I will post more photos as the mountain gets finished.

That's awesome! You shouldn't paint it, because then it would be like truck is driving through snow. Lots of snow.

Looks cool. Do you know if RCX ever comes to the Chicago area?
