I can't wait to see what kind of lap times you guys throw down Grant!
Eric, our computer can call the laps just like that. I think we usually have too many on the track. My dad just gave up some good speakers. Ill see how loud they are. Maybe we need too hook up the pc to the stereo.

Just want to know, are you using Giro z? Did the Giro Z can announce lap time and fastest lap time like core using flip side software?

Jeff, Yes we are using giro-z with the standard around software. I am pretty sure it can announce every lap, but it says the persons name evey time. With a few people on the track it gets cluttered. I keep it set to annouce personal best and pace.

if u have the newest version software 1.9 build 11
go to the settings, page click on speaker, click on options and chec the box for all laps reading on free training
this should read the times without the name
then down @ the bottom of that page u can adjust the decimal positions that it reads

Thanks. I'll try. I have both core and giro z. Giro z purpose is for pan car, lemans and F1. But I find out that Giro z is very quite during race. (Because we don't have race announcer) While Flip side software can set to announce the pace every minutes.
That's why till now my club member still prefer core. Now I need to explore more on the Giro Z.

You can set Zround to call every ones pace every minute as well. The options are highly variable for how much it calls. We usually have it set low, and have a person call the race.

We are live for the night!

Hopefully we can stay that way. We have had problems in the past with the counter and the web cam not working well together.
