My Monster OL!!
I was messing around thinking of ideas on my Overland when I came across some cool looking tires. They were to small for the rims but after a few seconds of struggled stretching, I managed to have them on. I am really excited about the look of these puppies. They are a good size but still look realistic. They look as though someone lifted their LC and put some huge mud tires on it.
I have yet to run them (waiting for my Pajero to come in) but I can say these will do a lot better. I won't use them all the time but in some of the more extreme cases, I fix her back up to monster status.
I had to trim the rear fenders ever so slightly in the corners and had to trim the little nubs that are on the front of the chassis on the opposite side of the lower battery so it could still use full range of steering.
Notice my halo-style internal antenna.
Of course, I have pics:

I figured some one would recognize those..
Ha, I knew any true tinkerer would recognize the tires. They are from a Lego set and they fit well, while nearly impossible to get balanced, they are very grippy. I tried to fit them on for laughs and then when I saw how well they turned out, I liked it. I am dying to see how they work.
Now no one can call it a soccer-mom truck. Soccer mom decided to go hardcore, lol.
Later,
XDD

This will be my supreme off-roading setup and I want to know a motor torquier than stock that can run without a turbo. I want the absolute torquiest I can get. Top-speed i don't care about as long as it is at or even a bit less than stock speed. I would use the 9T. I will be driving at low speeds most of the time so torque is very important. I would also rather use Tower. D i n b a l l has been giving me trouble.
Has anyone ever had the D-word place have you give an approved address. My order status say Address Approval Request and they won't ship my Pajero til they get what they want. I don't even know for sure what they want. Has anyone had to go through this. They didn't do this on my first order.
Thanks for the help.

If your loking for torque, Get a X speed or a A-bb??? motor from the shop and install NEO magnets to it. Don't need a turbo and the magnets give you the additional torque.

I've not seen them in the parts list, but my son has a lot of them with the "lego racers" sets for ~$ 10 with name like "Power Crusher", "Nitro" somthing and "Raptor".

Did a deep dig in my son's lego and thats "deep".
I must change my habit giving him all those bricks...
Only found one type that have the same wheel pattern
and are in that size, same goes for lego's on line shop.
No substitute found, guess XtremeDD hade to hold the wheels
tight when he mounted them on the rims. As shown at the lego
box and in RL the wheels are more like fat swamptires, almost
rounded when they are mounted on lego rims. XDD's have a look
like biger diameter when they are on OL rims...

arch2b, look 3 posts above - it's a theme/serie - "lego racers". Look in to that, because depending from where you connect to
lego shop you will see diffrent products for your country...

I can get a pic of the tire not on the rim to show you what to look for if you'd like.
I did have to squeeze pretty hard to get them on but they were worth it.
