not to nit pick the wiki page but i believe the term mr-015 was used in japan back in 2003 to describe those with the mr-02 enzo (only car available at launch) that wanted to run mr-01 bodies and or mr-01 with mr-02 rear end. i don't recall anyone in the US being the first to use this term. at the time there were easily double the number of mini-z forums as well which makes it harder to pinpoint it's first usage.
i also know that mzr release an mr-01.5 h plate very early on as well (2003?).
They have or had an MR-01 asf. 2.4ghz? I would like to aquire one. The palm runners were first then mini z's in 1999. Then F-1, overland and monsters in 2002. MR02 in 2003. MR015 in 2005 and AWD in 2006 and the rest is a blur.
About to convert an 01 to 2.4 myself... No idea why other than to see what I can get it to do!
I only consider the Palm Runner in the Z lineage because it used Autoscales. Almost like the Neanderthal of the Mini-Z evolution.
Didn't the Monster come out a bit after the MR02?... this is going to be an incredibly tough job gathering all of this info. Kyosho should have all of their release dates recorded, hope someone there can chime in!
Maybe their is a way to track it via some government importation database. I would think they'd have to know what someone was importing via model number. Then again... usually easier to get blood from a stone when it comes to government databases!

I don't count sp chassis releases as separates myself. There just upgrade kits. If you go that route, you would have to track the overland and monster sp kits, f1 sp kits, dnano sp kits, and on and on and on
