Arnie,

Your Mini-Z TX will work with any 27MHz RX
You will need an RX and servo's.

Standard stuff is not, micro/pico or competition grade equipment is...
I found a micro servo for 20USD but a micro esc set me back over 60 bucks.

You will likely want a FM 75mhz radio... its way better then AM...

And you will likely need 2 servos, or 1 servo and a ESC, Electronic Speed Control, wich will be extremely cheapy at around 25$, and long lasting at around 60-100$... And the typical RX prices ive seen is like 50-70$ - then you will need a few batteries 20 each, a charger, 40 for a crap one, and 60 to 100 for a good one... That literaly has a stock motor, so you will eventualy want one of those... etc. never asume a hobby is affordable .
