Well I have painted the base coat on my white body. Let me tell you it's impressive. it Looks so amazing.

oh yea. it White, come to think of it it looks that same as it did when I started. only doesn't have the plastic look... I'll post pics when I'm done..

slight snafu with my order so i won't get it till next week so no work on my car

does tamyia make a off white? i'm debating painting it white vs leaving it unpainted but i don't want bright white.

Tamyia makes a Pearl White laquer in rattle cans (#TS45 Pearl White), if that helps.

I have used the pearl white, I recommend using a plain white as a base coat with it. That color is translucent, it shows whats under it very well. I painted a black Microsizer body with it and it came off looking greyish. That's with a few thin coats of white primer as a base to try and cover the black. That and the Mini Z body both are FD's, just the Mini Z body started off white. The Mini Z body is brighter with the same pearl white paint.

The red would come out more next to the other colors. I was going to do my Stang, but decided on the Vits to be different. I knew there would be a Mustang in rhis someplace. Look's good so far.
