I Like the layout. One day I might see it in person.
Sadly May 7th is a work day for me.

Perhaps not his wife, but his Mom has been known to make an appearance though!

Our stock test times all were in the low to mid 12sec with TheSteve taking his mod AWD into the low 11sec. I believe that was the only Mod running on the day as most were working on nailing down smooth/consistent stock and super stock setups.
Thanks for the pic G. Like I said it was a fun flow so I hope we can reproduce that one again. Its great to have tons of track but as we've seen its not key/important to make difficult/technical layouts so much as it's nice to make flow circuits that are challenging. (that's a dig at you, Ryan)

Good evening gentlemen, there is a good chance I might actually be able to make it out to this one, but you will all have to educate me on what I have missed so far. It will be my first time at Grant's place, and what little skills I had since last time would surely have deteriorated so I will consider myself a newbie.
I would like to get something set up for the 90mm HM, but I don't remember if I have a HM motor mount in my parts box at home, I'll have to take a look. Would a Honda Fit be allowed? That's the body I was using for my (unsuccessful) FWD build that I could repurpose.

At this point we really haven't gotten the spec class together so it's been 90mm narrow until we all get our cars together. Grants location is more about testing than racing...
Hope you can make it Geoff.

It will be nice if you can make it out Geoff. I plan on building most of the 50cm layout in a few hours. The weather is clear and this always makes for a faster setup on Sunday. I hope for a good turn out tomorrow. Also as it's warming up outside, i plan on turning off the heat in the clubhouse.

Big thanks to Grant for hosting, and to everyone else who was there.
Good venue, good layout, good company, good driving. My cars worked reasonably well, and I didn't forget to bring my radio - can't ask for anything more. I hope to make it out to the next one, but life may get busy again after that.

Glad you made it out Geoff. Was a great time, Grant amped it up with a prebuilt track.

Thanks to everyone that made it out. A great day. It was nice to finally vacuum all the 50 cm Rcp. It sure needed it and made for some challenging sections on track. I drove 900 laps on the day, most of them on my Abarth. Also a special thanks to The Steve and Geoff for helping with teardown. Thirty minutes for three people is pretty darn quick.

James has been wanting to host a GTG for a while & is looking into seeing if his hall is available for rent on the 28th. The rateof the room is about $40 more than Langley & there will be some details to work out on him getting the track to & from his place but I think it would be a good place to do a GTG. Address is: 2660 Shaughnessy St. in PoCo. Looking for feedback & attendance #'s. I will be able to make this date so I would be there. Second option would be for the same date but to see if Grant is able to host again.
