Vital Statistics
Everyone wants a better shop, Mini-z is comitted to developing one. We are asking for member participation in the collection of vital statistics for every mini-z.
with the recent purchase of the mustang autoscale, i noticed for the first time kyosho is providing post card sized pamphlets with the vital statistics for that autoscale. as this is a new feature, we would like to apply it retroactively to all the previous autoscales as we believe this information will be of great benifit to anyone who ever searched the shop.
in the interest of being as brief and to the point we have reduced the amount of information to the following:
Quote:
(filled in for example)
ASC part number(s): MZG205MB / MZG205MG
RTR part number(s): 30461
Type of chassis: MR-02 MM
Wheelbase: LL
Suspension limiter: 5
Wheel set part number: MZH215S
Front wheel width: N
Front wheel offset: 0mm
Rear wheel width: W
Rear wheel offset: 1mm
Front chassis width: 70mm
Rear chassis width: 72mm
Receiver antenna D size: 30mm
|
if you have require clarification on what we are asking for, i have attached the card that was supplied with my mustang as an example.
if you received one of these cards with your readyset or autoscale, please post this information.
if your really bored, you can find alot of this information in existing documents such as your manual, autoscale pamphlets and kyosho pdf's you can download such as the wheel chart.
the more submissions we have, the better you and others will be informed whe searching the shop.
PLEASE, only post this info.

I did one for the Lancia Stratos, because it is somewhat unusual. There are a few N/A's in the listing, and added the motor position to the list. I am suprised it is listed as low. I also made the list into a text file template that can be used to fill out.

I didn't list the limiter, because the 01 don't have them. The width I riffled through five different sheets and did not find that listed anyplace. If I had to guess, I'd say front 65mm, rear 70mm.

thanks for your efforts hammer. i guess not to many others have the time or inclination to contribute.
obviously not all the info can or could be found on some of these so there enevitabley be some holes but over time i'm sure they will be filled.
motor position is applicable to mr-01's which are no longer marketed by kyosho. the move to the mr-015 eliminates the need for motor position execpt for those very few mr-01's that require the high mount which can be noted by whomever posts the info.
ok, we can't let hammer get them all can we there are tons of bodies nad tons of members.... if we could even get each to do just one we would have them all very quickly. ofcourse those like hammer make it much easier please contribute and other than my ramblings, lets keep the posting applicable to the information, follow hammer's example

I figure the nosemounts are specific to the body. Every one I've seen has the car name molded onto it.

yeah they have the body name molded to the plates to make it less confusing for beginners swapping bodies, i know the NSX and CLK are interchangeable, and i think the Skyline GT-R and Porche GT3 are as well. i was just thinking that it would make things easier for some people, and nice info to have, some companies sell aluminum nose mounts for some bodies, but for the bodies i have i dont see any aluminum available, but if i could find an aluminum mount that will fit a couple different bodies i have it would appeal to me more to buy one

if you know for fact (personal experience etc.) that some nose clips are interchangeable, please start a list here as well which can be updated etc.
lets keep the chat to a min. so the real beauty of this thread can be seen more easily, that includes myself i tend to ramble...
