Yea, it's madness that cooking oil in a car fuel tank gets the police's underwear in a twist.
It's just the government demanding another unfair tax on an alternative fuel source.

What would happen if someone produced a vehicle that could convert H20 into pure Hydrogen and the vehicle had to be filled with normal water?
Would they make you pax tax on the water used within this vehicle?
Hypothetically speaking, if a government could "enforce" taxes on tap water for automobile use, would owners of "water powered" vehicles be taxed on rain water?

Hell, I need a "Mr Fusion" generator like the one fitted to the DeLorean in "Back to the Future"

Have any of you thought of Fuel Cell cars? Would they tax the hydrogen in your tank? you can get hydrogen out of air so how would they tax you on that? They would never know.

I might try that little cooking oil trick in my tractor at my farm. It is not on a road, so it is not illegal to do

I will post on the results of my little expriment.
