What I think would be neat (for buggies) is to have an overpass, but with the centre section cut out. So like a ramp, basically. I guess only one side needs to be raised up, the other side can be at a normal level but there is a wall to clear. If you can't clear it, you have to go around the track again for a super long lap! That's if you are still rubber side down...

Hot wheels loop I don't think my buggy can go fast enough for that, and the regular Mini-Z might have nose/tail clearance issues if the loop is too tight...

Had a good day by switching to my Mosler body and the car felt so much sharper...at least until I had to repair front cracks.

Exceptional layout, guys!

Glad you could make it out & I'm happy to see you & the track you graciously brought down to add to the mix made it home in one piece!

Thank to Dave W for treking the rest of the track & all the other gear to & frow!

I believe the next two GTG's will be 2 weeks apart & be held in Newton.

I won't be able to make those, but two weeks after those were looking to setup @ Colin's so I hope to bookoff that date!

Thanx again to all those that made it out, a few pics will be posted on the BC Mini-Z Club f******k page soon!

Front cracks eh!
Sounds like someone was hitting others as opposed to being hit. Hmmm.

Thanks to all who came out. Today was great.
The extra track brought down by by Cowboy made for an awesome layout.
30cm and 50cm together is a great combination of technical and speed.

Also, thanks to Marty for hosting the venue, and all those who helped out with coffee, tea and don't forget, the all important, track vacuuming! (David).

See ya at the next one. I'll confirm dates asap.

I have to admit its pretty hard to not hit Marty...he's got some strange ideas of reversing into the racing line.

Gonna get a new Mosler body. I was so happy with it yesterday...

Gonna say, you were quick. There was one point during some laps you were following me and I remember thinking "Derek must be practicing in his garage or something, He's stuck to me like glue". Don't remember what happened after that, I probably did something stupid like taking a rail or something. That'll teach me to watch where I'm goin'

Marty's a newbie and as such does have a rather unique style and sense of timing.
At least it's a level playing field, as newbies suprise us "equally" with their unusual technique.
But it does have it's challenges.

1.Did we come up with the next dates for GTG's?

2.If Ryan isnt around, are we going to try out the new catagories and start the points series?

3. Can anyone provide me with Bak Choi's number? I've found a few items for his requests for a custom F1 build but wanted his input...

Looking forward to racing soon...gonna keep the track i brought out so i can set it and get some practice in.

I'm that bad, Steve?

I'd probably get set up once a week. I hope that'll help a little bit.

Its what I would recommend for anyone who wants to improve. If I feel like doing laps I generally do 500 in an evening. Only way to stay sharp is to keep practicing.

1) Usually I let Rfick73 announce GTG's but, what the heck, I'll beat him to the punch this time.

Feb 24th
Mar 10th

Both in Newton.
Note: Rfick73 did already suggest that these were in the works. Gotta give credit when due.

2) If you guys are ready to start the point series and categories then I see no reason not to give it a try. I think everyone is going to need some info about the catagories, times for races etc. Perhaps you guys can start new thread so everyone has a place to look.

See you on the 24th!
