As an example:
MiniZ STK: 20-30 cars
MiniZ F1: ~15
MiniZ Mod: ~20
M18: ~20
As with any event the drivers usually run more than one class so you will see 40-50 drivers.

If this is a one day event, I may be able to make it. Although, the PNWC finals are on the 31st... So the 24th may be a little too close for comfort.
I disagree with restricting the motor to one manufacturer. I would prefer to use an Atomic Standard Race USA motor for stock classes... You wont be able to satisfy everyone.
Most racers have already modified their cars with fets, since there are no more fet restrictions in any of the cup series races.

But there is a huge difference between the PN and the Atomic "Stocks"... how many turns does the Atomic Standard USA have?... does anyone know?
It just seems like PN really picked a winner when they went with 70 turns... it just evens out everyone's speed so well. The Atomic Standard USA I have is more like an 07 or an Xspeed than a 70 turn. If they do give a chance to pick between these two motors for a stock class I would absolutely have to use the Atomic due to it's greater power.

The USA motor is not as fast as the Speedy 07. More like the Speedy 05 in terms of speed. An average motor with average batteries will still perform pretty well. Wtih a 70t you need the best batteries and chargers on the market, and a good pick on the motor to have good speed.
A lot of race events have adopted the 70t, and it is a little too slow... Making everyone have to constantly buy new batteries to get the fastest on the market. I buy new cells everytime I go to a new PN event, just to stay competetive. Over $100 for new cells gets to be rediculous after 3 events in a year... Old cells just dont cut it for a 70t class.

All good input.
If we can get hand outs courtesy of PN Racing then it will be 70T, however, if we cannot get the hook up then we will keep the motor to 50T (as before) only this time with FETs allowed, essentially only difference to mod is chassis and motor turns.
This is charity race so I don't want to get carried away with too many rules.

Probably not. If we do it will only be an general rendering of the layout using RCP Tracks track builder.
Ed made one suggestion that we will take to heart but we will likely need people (Raymond, Ed, etc could help) to bring some center tiles to make it happen.

You know.... you don't have to win all the time Eugene, I think that is your whole problem. B mains can be fun too!
I'm usually cool with whatever rules are, as long as they don't change the day of the event. Whatever we do is fine with me... I only go to these things to drown out the voices in my head.
My track is your track Russ, let me know whatever I need to bring along. Sent you a PM too.
I'm still curious how many turns that Atomic USA motor has. Does anyone know?

Everyone,
PN Racing is helping us out but cannot supply 70T hand outs.
SO, the MiniZ STK spec is 50T with any PCB (3010, 2.4, FETs, etc).
MORE Prizes are rolling in. Anyone like Micheal Schumacher, Nelson Piquet, or Danica Patrick? Not in to open wheel racing? How about a Harvick AutoScale?
