October 11th sounds good.. Can't wait for this event to come around again.. Looking forward to another huge track layout and seeing a lot of familiar faces that I got to meet last year... Hopefully this year we can raise even more money to help fight ALS...
Entries and prizes continue to trickle in and I am seeing some new names.
This is great, but I am beginning to get a little concerned that we will not have enough space.
We have not called out a driver limit for the event but I can tell you that the facility will really only handle about 75 drivers. This is not only space but amperage of our breakers in the pit area.
With this in mind, if you are interested in particpating (great racing, prizes and food) please try to get in your registration before Sept 27 or as soon as possible.
Russ, just wanted to know if the track is going to be setup in the same location as last year.. I was also curious to find out if you have any ideas on what the track layout and size will be.. Any info would be appreciated..

Yes. Same place. Pit area and track area will be the same as before. We will have a little more pit area to accomodte more drivers but the track size will be in the same sq.in space. We are limited in space but will be sure to fill every inch so the track will have lap times of ~ 12sec for MiniZ and ~ 10sec for 1/18th scale.
Actual track layout will be posted October 1st, and don't forget that there will be Friday night practice if you want to come by or stay the night locally.
Russ, thanks for answering my questions quickly.. I'd also like to thank whoever dropped off the entry forms for the ALS charity race at Hobbyworks in Fairfax, VA.. If anybody still needs a registration form, Hobbyworks still has some left..

Cool.
Props go to the guys at the HobbyWorks in Laurel MD for sending some down to VA. All the local shops now have them except CWhitts and I am taking care of that Saturday morning.
If you can't make it to a shop you can find the registration form here (look at earlier post) and on our webiste (www.ncrcracing.com)
